An environmentally friendly polymer film pouch (10, 20) made from a polyethylene film structure for the packaging of flowable materials, for example, milk. The film may be a monolayer or multilayer structure (30), such as a two-layer or a three-layer coextruded film (30) containing at least one layer (31) of a blend of an ultra low density polyethylene and a high pressure low density polyethylene as a seal layer having high melt strength. Also disclosed is a process of making the pouch (10, 20) for packaging flowable materials using a film structure described hereinabove.

L'invention concerne un sachet à pellicule en polymère respectueux de l'environnement (10, 20), dont la structure à pellicule de polyéthyène se prête au conditionnement des produits coulants comme le lait, par exemple. La pellicule peut être monocouche ou multicouche (30), par exemple sous la forme d'une strucutre coextrudée à deux ou à trois couches (30) comportant au moins une couche (31) d'un mélange de polyéthylène ultra-basse densité et de polyéthylène faible densité/haute pression, cette couche servant de matériau d'étanchéité et ayant une résistance élevée à la fusion. On décrit par ailleurs un procédé relatif à la fabrication de ce type de sachet (10, 20) pour le conditionnement des produits coulants, avec utilisation d'une pellicule conforme à la structure indiquée.
