The present invention relates to O-thiocarbamoyl-aminoalkanol compound represented by structural formula (VI) which are a racemic or enantiomerically enriched and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof to treat diseases of the central nervous system: wherein Ar is a phenyl group as described in formula (1): wherein R is a member selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, lower alkyl of 1 to 8 carbon atoms, halogen selected from F, CI, Br, and I, alkoxy containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms, thioalkoxy containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms, nitro, hydroxy, or trifluorocarbon, and x is an integer from 1 to 3, with the proviso that R is the same or different when x is 2 or 3. R1 and R2 and R3 and R4 respectively may be same or different from each other and are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, lower alkyl of 1 to 8 carbon atoms, aryl, 3 to 7-membered aliphatic cyclic compounds and R3 and R4, together with the adjoining N-atom, form a 5 to 7-membered cyclic compound which optionally comprises zero to one additional nitrogen atoms substituted with a member selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl and aryl groups, or zero to one oxygen atoms directly unconnected, each of 1, m and n is zero or 1, and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
La présente invention concerne des composés de O-thiocarbamoyl-aminoalcanol représentés par la formule structurelle (VI) lesquels sont un racémique ou leurs sels enrichis par voie enantiomère et acceptables sur le plan pharmaceutique pour traiter des maladies du système nerveux central, formule dans laquelle Ar représente un groupe phényle (1) dans lequel R est un élément choisi dans le groupe comprenant hydrogène, alkyle inférieur comprenant 1 à 8 atomes de carbone, halogène choisi entre F, CI, Br et I, alcoxy contenant 1 à 3 atomes de carbone, thioalcoxy contenant 1 à 3 atomes de carbone, nitro, hydroxy ou trifluorocarbone, et x est un nombre entier compris entre 1 et 3 à la condition que R soit identique ou différent lorsque x représente 2 ou 3. R1 et R2 ainsi que R3 et R4 peuvent être respectivement identiques ou différents et ils sont sélectionnés indépendamment dans le groupe comprenant hydrogène, alkyle inférieur contenant 1 à 8 atomes de carbone, aryle, des composés aliphatiques cycliques de 3 à 7 éléments et R3 ainsi que R4, avec l'atome N contigü, forment un composé cyclique de 5 à 7 éléments lequel comprend facultativement zéro à un atome d'azote supplémentaire substitué par un élément choisi dans le groupe comprenant des groupes hydrogène, alkyle et aryle, ou zéro à un atome d'oxygène non relié directement, chaque l, m et n représente zéro ou un, ainsi que leurs sels acceptables sur le plan pharmaceutique.
