The invention relates to a device for the object-oriented control of at least one information display device, comprising at least one sensor device for the detection of an object or a group of objects and a control unit. The invention is characterised in that the control unit is provided for the determination of at least one classification feature of at least one object or group of objects as detected by the sensor device and for the control of the at least one information display device on the basis of the at least one classification feature. The invention further relates to a system of at least one information display device and a device for the object-oriented control of the at least one information display device as previously described.
