ABSTRACT An ocular interface for adapting a personal night observation device, such as night observation goggles, to view through a vehicle day sight is disclosed. The interface has a mounting bracket that may be connected to the day sight, for example to the brow path rod where the cite is so equipped. One or two stand-off tubes are carried on the mounting bracket, the number depending on whether the cite is a monocular or a binocular device. The stand-off tube fits over the eyepiece at one end and over the objective end of the night observation device at the other. The tube remembers the spacing between the eyepiece and the objective to the correct eye relieve distance for the eyepiece. A background light limiting gasket is fitted to either end of the stand-off tube to limit the leakage of light into the tube.
