The invention concerns an open end wrench with manual and alternative rotation control (1) having a fork (3) for screwing and/or unscrewing a nut (4); the fork branches (10 and 20) comprise thrusting zones (11, 12 and 21, 22) for screwing and/or unscrewing and the groove (5) of the fork (3) comprises supporting zones for the proper positioning of the nut (4). Each branch (10 or 20) comprises two thrusting zones, one apical zone (11 and 21) and one basal zone (12 and 22). The two straight lines passing through the apical zone of one of the branches (10 or 20) and through the basal zone of the other branch (20 or 10) define an intersection corresponding to the rotation axis (9) of said nut (4) and an angle .alpha. between two thrusting zones (11 and 22 or 21 and 22) of the same branch (10 or 20) which is between 30 and 33· for gripping the nut (4) again at 30·. The groove (5) comprises at least two projections (6, 7 and/or 8) acting as supporting zones. The invention is preferably applicable for driving all types of hexagonal objects.

L'invention concerne une clé plate à commande de rotation alternative et manuelle (1) ayant une fourche (3) destinée à visser et/ou dévisser un écrou (4); les branches (10 et 20) de la fourche (3) comportent des zones de poussée (11, 12, et 21, 22) pour le vissage et/ou le dévissage et la gorge (5) de la fourche (3) comporte des zones d'appui (6 à 8) pour le bon positionnement de l'écrou (4). Chaque branche (10 ou 20) comporte deux zones de poussée, une zone apicale (11 et 21) et une zone basale (12 et 22). Les deux droites passant par la zone apicale de l'une des branches (10 ou 20) et par la zone basale de l'autre branche (20 ou 10) définissent une intersection correspondant à l'axe de rotation (9) dudit écrou (4) et un angle .alpha. entre deux zones de poussée (11 et 22 ou 21 et 22) d'une même branche (10 ou 20) qui est compris entre 30 et 33~ pour une reprise de l'écrou (4) à 30~. La gorge (5) comporte au moins deux bossages (6, 7 et/ou 8) faisant office de zones d'appui. L'invention trouve une application préférentielle dans l'entraînement de tout type d'objets hexagonaux.
