A B S T R A C T THIS INVENTION RELATES TO A VEHICLE H.P. (horse power) AND MAXIMUM SPEED CONTROL PANEL THAT ALLOWS THE OPERATOR TO SELECT ENGINE H.P. AND MAXIMUM VEHICLE SPEED WITH THE TOUCH OF A SWITCH OR THE PUSH OF A BUTTON WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE. THIS SYSTEM ALLOWS THE OPERATOR TO RECEIVE MAXIMUM FUEL ECONOMY, REDUCE ENGINE WEAR AND EMISSIONS, BY BEING ABLE TO INSTANTLY, (WITH THE PUSH OF A SWITCH OR BUTTON) ELECTRONICALLY, DE-RATE H.P. SETTINGS TO FIT CURRENT OPERATING CONDITIONS ... LOADED/UNLOADED, FLAT/HILLY TERRAIN, SLIPPERY/DRY ROAD CONDITIONS, CALM/WINDY WEATHER. THE MAXIMUM SPEED SELECTION FEATURE INSURES THE OPERATOR DOES NOT VIOLATE LEGAL SPEED LIMITE. BOTH H.P. AND MAXIMUM SPEED SELECTIONS CAN BE LOCKED IN PLACE BY VEHICLE OWNER SO THAT THE OPERATOR CANNOT CHANGE SETTINGS.
