An optical auxiliary system for a camera, which is arranged between a recording lens and a. camera body and which comprises a relay system for projecting the image of the recording lens onto the film or the video pick-up. The invention is characterised by the provision that the relay system is so structured that it produces more than one image and that the lens disposed directly on the camera body is a zoom lens.
