Add-drop multiplexer comprising a pair of substantially identical first and second interference filters. The first filter extracts a carrier from a wavelength division multiplexed stream and the second filter inserts a carrier into the stream. The filters are arranged in parallel planes and mounted to opposite faces of a transparent plate, in such a way that the stream exits the multiplexer after being reflecting by both filters. The transparent plate is mounted on a support which is rotatable in either direction to vary the tuning wavelength of the filters.

Le premier filtre extrait une porteuse d'un train multiplexé en longueur d'onde et le second filtre insère une porteuse dans ce train. Les filtres sont disposés suivant des plans parallèles et montés sur des faces opposées d'une plaque transparente, de façon que le train sorte du multiplexeur après réflexion par les deux filtres.
