The optical article of the invention includes, on at least one of its main surfaces, an outer hydrophobic and/or oleophobic coating and a dual-layer temporary coating in direct contact with the outer hydrophobic and/or oleophobic coating, characterised in that the dual-layer temporary coating includes a first layer in direct contact with the outer hydrophobic and/or oleophobic coating, selected from halogenated olefin polymers and polyurethanes, and a second layer deposited on the first one, of a polymer or polymer mixture acting as a water barrier. The invention can be used for edging ophthalmic lenses.

L'article d'optique comporte sur au moins une de ses surfaces principales un revêtement externe hydrophobe et/ou oléophobe et en contact direct avec le revêtement externe hydrophobe et/ou oléophobe un revêtement temporaire bicouche caractérisé en ce que le revêtement temporaire bicouche comprend une première couche, en contact direct avec le revêtement externe hydrophobe et/ou oléophobe choisi parmi les polymères d'oléfines halogénées et les polyuréthanes et une deuxième couche, déposée sur la première, d'un polymère ou mélange de polymères faisant barrière à l'eau.. Application au débordage des lentilles ophtalmiques.
