The present invention relates to an optical fiber for an optical amplifier and a method for manufacturing the same, which can be applied to an optical transmission system in the S-band area (4130nm - 1530nm). According to the present invention, silica is used as a base material and the optical fiber for an optical amplifier contains Tm3+ ions and metal ions in a first core layer formed on an inner surface of a second core layer using the MCVD (Modified Chemical Vapor Deposition) method and a solution doping method whereby the practicability and productivity of the optical fiber are remarkably improved.
L'invention concerne une fibre optique pour un amplificateur optique, et un procédé de fabrication associé. Le procédé peut être appliqué à un système de transmission optique dans une zone de bande S (1430 nm à 1530 nm). Selon l'invention, de la silice est utilisée comme matériau de base, et la fibre optique pour amplificateur optique contient des ions Tm3+ et des ions métalliques situés dans une première couche de noyau, formée sur une surface intérieure d'une seconde couche de noyau, au moyen d'un procédé de dépôt chimique en phase vapeur (MCVD), et d'un procédé de dopage de solution, ce qui permet d'obtenir une manipulation et une productivité remarquablement améliorées pour cette fibre optique.
