An optical information recording medium, which allows easy recording at a high information density and has excellent durability, is provided at a low cost. The optical information recording medium includes a diamond-like carbon (DLC) layer (2) deposited on a board (1). Information is recorded in the optical information medium by irradiating a recording spot area selected from a plurality of recording spot areas with an energy beam (5) to increase the refraction index of the DLC layer (2) in the selected recording spot area.
Cette invention se rapporte à un support d~enregistrement d~informations optiques, qui facilite l~enregistrement à haute densité d~informations et offre une excellente durabilité à faible coût. Ledit support inclut une couche (2) de carbone sous forme de diamant amorphe (DLC) posée sur une carte (1). Les informations sont enregistrées sur le support d~informations optiques par irradiation d~une zone d~enregistrement sélectionnée parmi une pluralité de zones d~enregistrement par un faisceau d~énergie (5) permettant d~accroître l~indice de réfraction de la couche DLC (2) de la zone d~enregistrement sélectionnée.
