Ortho-substituted benzoylguanidines, process for their preparation, their use as a medicament or diagnostic, and medicament comprising them Benzoylguanidines of the formula I (see fig.I) with R(1) to R(4) as defined in the claims, are suitable as antiarrhythmic pharmaceuticals having a cardioprotective component for infarct prophylaxis and infarct treatment as well as for the treatment of angina pectoris. They inhibit, in a preventive manner, the pathophysiological processes in the formation of ischemically induced damage, in particular in the elicitation of ischemically induced cardiac arrhythmias.

Divulgation de benzoylguanidines substitués par un ortho, du processus de leur préparation, de leur utilisation à des fins thérapeutiques ou diagnostiques et d'un médicament à base de ces produits. Les benzoylguanidines de la formule I (voir la fig. I), les groupements R(1) à R(4) étant tels que définis dans les revendications, conviennent comme anti-arythmisants ayant une composante cardioprotectrice pour prévenir et traiter les infarctus, de même que pour traiter l'angine de poitrine. Ils inhibent, de façon préventive, les processus pathophysiologiques dans la formation de dommages causés par l'ischémie, en particulier dans le déclenchement d'arythmies cardiaques provoquées par l'ischémie.
