A device for sterilizing and storing toothbrushes when the toothbrushes are not in use. The toothbrushes are held within a cylindrical container where they are not only sterilized through the vaporization of a sterilizing agent but contact a central brush unit that physically removes contaminating particles that may reside between the bristles. The bristles of the central oscillating brush unit extend radially and clean the area between the bristles of the toothbrushes which are fixed in an appropriate orientation during the course of the entire procedure. The toothbrushes are then dried resulting in complete sterilization and storage until their subsequent use.
