A packaging foil (12) with integral system (18) for easy opening and re- closing a packaging container (10) manufactured using the packaging foil, comprises two foils (28, 30) which are joined together by a permanent adhesive (38) outside the region of the opening and re-closing system (18). An inner foil (28) exhibits a first perforation (32) as an opening (22) and an outer foil (30) exhibits a second perforation (34) to form a closure flap (20) covering the first perforation (32). A bonding adhesive (24) is provided between both foils (28, 30) in the region of the closure flap (20). The opening and re- closing system (18) may be incorporated ready-for-use during the manufacture of the packaging foil (12), which is in the form of a laminate.
