A paint has a film-forming binder component, a color-producing component, and a fire- retardant component adapted to least substantially protect from fire a surface of which the paint is applied; and the paint is produced by a method including providing a film- forming binder component; providing a color-producing component; mixing the components with some of dried powder components missing; and adding a fire retardant component to replace the dry powder component.

L'invention concerne une peinture contenant un composé de liant pour formation de pellicule, un composé de production de couleurs, et un composé ignifuge élaboré pour protéger au moins partiellement du feu une surface sur laquelle on applique la peinture. On fabrique cette peinture à l'aide d'un procédé consistant à fournir un composé de liant pour formation de pellicules, un composé de production de couleurs, à mélanger les composés avec quelques uns des composés en poudre séchés manquants, et à ajouter un composé ignifuge de manière à remplacer le composé en poudre sec.
