An air supply plenum for a paint spray booth (20) includes a housing with separating walls (40, 42) positioned between the ceiling (28) and a filter support panel (30) of the plenum housing. The air flow supplied to the paint spray booth area (56) is divided by the walls into three distinct flows: (1) a central flow air, through which the article (36) to be painted travels in the paint spray booth; (2) two outer greater flow areas where the operators and/or equipment (37) for applying paint to the article to be painted are located. Filters (38) are positioned in the supply plenum arrangement adjacent and above the filter support panel separating the plenum and paint spray booth. The filters run longitudinally along the length of the plenum and between the separating walls. The positioning of these filters in this manner minimizes the amount of turbulence of the flow provided to the spray paint booth.
Chambre de répartition d'air pour cabine de peinture au pistolet (20), comprenant une enveloppe munie de cloisons de séparation (40, 42) situées entre le plafond (28) et un panneau récepteur de filtres (30) de l'enveloppe de la chambre. Les cloisons partagent le flux d'air qui alimente le poste de peinture au pistolet (56) en trois flux distincts: (1) un flux central, à travers lequel passe l'objet à peindre (36), dans la cabine, et (2) deux zones extérieures de flux plus important, où se trouvent les personnes et/ou le matériel (37) devant peindre l'objet en question. Des filtres (38) sont posés dans la chambre de répartition d'air, à proximité et au-dessus du panneau récepteur de filtres qui sépare la chambre de la cabine de peinture. Les filtres sont disposés longitudinalement le long de la chambre et entre les cloisons de séparation. Cette façon de placer les filtres minimise les turbulences du flux d'air qui alimente la cabine.
