ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In making the capacitor, two aluminum metallized very thin polypropylene film strips are very tightly wound on a hard cylindrical core into a round hard capacitor roll section which is substantially devoid of internal air spaces and voids. The roll section is inserted into a can or casing and the can is filled with a suitable dielectric liquid which essentially coats only the ends of the roll section to suppress what is referred to as roll edge corona.
