A system for mounting a partition, the system including a shoe with a slot for receiving an edge of the partition and an isolator that fits within the slot between the partition and a portion of the slot. A clamp assembly fits within the slot opposite the first isolator. The clamp assembly includes upper and lower blocks and, optionally, a center block. Surfaces of the blocks are angled with respect to each other so that drawing the upper and lower blocks toward each other will urge one of the blocks in one direction and the other block or blocks in the opposite direction. The blocks include engagement surfaces which engage a side wall of the slot and a side of the partition to selectively and releasably hold the partition within the slot.
L'invention concerne un système de montage de cloison. Le système comporte un patin dont les deux bords forment un espace destiné à recevoir le bord inférieur de la cloison ; un isolateur qui s'adapte dans ledit espace, entre la cloison et un bord du patin. Un ensemble de pince s'adapte dans l'espace, du côté opposé au premier isolateur. L'ensemble de pince comprend des blocs supérieur et inférieur et, facultativement, un bloc central. Des surfaces des blocs sont inclinées l'une par rapport à l'autre de sorte qu'en tirant les blocs supérieur et inférieur l'un vers l'autre on repousse un des blocs dans une direction et le ou les autres blocs dans la direction opposée. Les blocs comprennent des surfaces de contact qui viennent en contact avec un bord de l'espace situé entre les deux bords du patin et un côté de la cloison pour maintenir la cloison dans la fente de manière sélective et libérable.
