A rod body having a reed switch constituting a sensor, provided on a tip end thereof is inserted into a cylindrical sensor cover having its tip end closed. An O ring attached to a sidewall of the rod body seals the inside of the sensor cover from the outside when the rod body is inserted in the sensor cover. The sensor cover is attached to a sensor support to be fixed to component parts of a bicycle.
