The invention provides an improved passive armor system. The armor system uses armor stacks of ceramic tiles (19) connected to layers of glass (21, 23, 25). The armor stacks are then adhered to the inside of a cover box (15). The cover box (15) is then secured to a base (12, 13) and then covered with a cloth impregnated with an adhesive (17).
La présente invention concerne un perfectionnement de blindage passif. On utilise pour ce blindage passif des empilements blindants de plaquettes de céramique (19) solidarisées à des couches de verre (21, 23, 25). Les empilements blindants sont ensuite collés à l'intérieur d'un caisson de couverture (15). Ce caisson de couverture (15) est alors fixé sur une base (12, 13) puis recouvert d'un tissu imprégné d'adhésif (17).
