Ionomeric polymers are provided which are dispersible in aqueous solvents yet which crosslink with ethylenically unsaturated monomers to form matrices having relatively low solubility in such solvents. The polymers can be incorporated into photocurable composition for use, for example, in photocurable printing elements.

L'invention concerne des polymères ionomères pouvant être dispersés dans des solvants aqueux et qui cependant se réticulent avec des monomères insaturés en éthylène de façon à former des matrices présentant une solubilité relativement basse dans de tels solvants.
