2083057 9117944 PCTABS00008 A wrap-packaging film laminate (1) having differential cling is provided having at least two layers, one which is an outer reverse layer (2) comprising a linear very low density ethylene copolymer (LVLDPE) having a critical density of less than about 0.915 g/cc which reverse layer contains a tackifier in an amount typically less than 6 percent by weight, which is sufficient to impart the desired level of cling, one of which comprises an obverse layer (3) of an olefin polymer or copolymer, such as a linear low density ethylene copolymer (LLDPE) which has a critical density of at least 0.916 g/cc which has little or no cling, and wherein the difference in density between the reverse layer and the obverse layer is at least 0.004 g/cc, the said differential cling properties being manifested in the higher level of cling of the LVLDPE reverse layer (2) as compared to that of the obverse layer (3).
