A microbial riboflavin-production process is disclosed. Riboflavin-producing micro-organisms are cultivated in a culture medium and the thus produced riboflavin is then isolated. The process is characterised in that the endogenous isocitratlyase activity (ICL) of the micro-organisms used has been modified.
Selon le procédé décrit, on utilise des microbes pour produire de la riboflavine. On cultive les micro-organismes producteurs de riboflavine dans un milieu de culture puis on isole la riboflavine ainsi produite. Le procédé se caractérise en ce que l'on utilise des micro-organismes dont l'activité endogène d'isocitratlyase (ICL) a été modifiée.
