Disclosed is a glass frit, essentially free of lead, for forming an enamel capable of preventing Ag+ ion migration, the, glass frit comprising 15 to 70% by weight: zinc oxide, 15 to 40% by weight silicon dioxide and 5 to 25% by weight boron trioxide, and further comprising, dissolved in the glass, 0.05 to 15 mol% of at least one member of the group consisting of sulfur and sulfides.
