PRINTER MEDIUM DRIVE CLEARANCE ELIMINATOR ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A printer medium feed mechanism clearance eliminator is provided, including a paper guide (32) mounted to the printer, a clearance eliminator sheet (38), and tensioning means (43). The clearance eliminator plate (38) conforms to the curve of a medium drive roller (20), thereby elimi- nating clearance wherein the medium (14) might buckle and cause jamming or skewing within the printer (10).
