L'invention concerne un conteneur de pile rectangulaire (3) ayant généralement une forme rectangulaire en section transversale latérale et un côté plat (3a) court dont l'épaisseur (A) est plus grande que l'épaisseur (B) d'un côté plat long (3b). Le matériau (8) du conteneur de pile, découpé selon une forme spécifiée, est embouti pour former une première coupelle (1) intermédiaire de forme généralement elliptique en section transversale latérale.
