Selon l'invention: a) on monte la chambre de combustion du statoréacteur sur un dispositif pour lui conférer une liberté partielle de mouvement longitudinal; b) on agence, à l'entrée de ladite chambre, un souffleur d'air comportant une tuyère; c) on agence entre ladite tuyère et ladite chambre une vessie souple remplie d'un fluide; d) on souffle de l'air dans la chambre; e) on alimente en combustible la chambre; et f) on mesure la pression du fluide contenu dans ladite vessie lors de la combustion.
