A process cartridge (B) for use with a main assembly of an image forming apparatus, the main assembly including a driving shaft (180), wherein the process cartridge is dismountable from the main assembly in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the driving shaft (180), the process cartridge includes i) a photosensitive drum (107) being rotatable about an axis thereof; ii) process means (108, 110) actable on the drum,- iii) a coupling member (150) engageable with the driving shaft for rotating the drum (107), the coupling member being capable of taking a transmitting angular position for transmitting the rotational force to the drum (107) and a disengaging angular position in which the coupling member is inclined away from the axis of the drum (107) from the transmitting angular position, wherein when the process cartridge (B) is dismounted from the main assembly in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the drum (107), the coupling member (150) moves from the transmitting angular position to the disengaging angular position.
L'invention concerne une cartouche de traitement (B) destinée à être utilisée avec un ensemble principal d'un appareil de formation d'image, l'ensemble principal comprenant un arbre d'entraînement (180), la cartouche de traitement étant démontable de l'ensemble principal dans une direction perpendiculaire à une direction axiale de l'arbre d'entraînement (180), la cartouche de traitement comprenant i) un tambour photosensible (107) rotatif autour d'un axe de celui-ci ; ii) des moyens de traitement (108, 110) pouvant actionner le tambour ; iii) un élément de couplage (150) pouvant être engagé avec l'arbre d'entraînement pour entraîner le tambour (107) en rotation, l'élément de couplage étant capable de prendre une position angulaire de transmission pour transmettre la force rotative au tambour (107) et une position angulaire de désengagement dans laquelle l'élément de couplage est incliné loin de l'axe du tambour (107) à partir de la position angulaire de transmission, et l'élément de couplage (150) pouvant se déplacer de la position angulaire de transmission à la position angulaire de désengagement, lorsque la cartouche de traitement (B) est démontée de l'ensemble principal dans une direction perpendiculaire à l'axe du tambour (107).
