A process for applying two electrodeposited coatings, one on top of the other, to an electrically conductive substrate is provided. An electrically conductive first coating is applied to provide for corrosion resistance and a second polyurethane-based coating is applied to the first coating to provide chip resistance. Also, aqueous dispersions of the polyurethane coating compositions are disclosed.
L'invention concerne un procédé qui permet d'appliquer par électrodéposition deux revêtements superposés sur un substrat électriquement conducteur. On applique sur le substrat un premier revêtement électriquement conducteur, qui le rend résistant à la corrosion; puis on applique sur le premier revêtement un second revêtement, à base de polyuréthane, qui rend ledit substrat résistant à l'écaillage. L'invention concerne également des dispersions aqueuses desdites compositions de revêtement à base de polyuréthane.
