The invention relates to a method for producing a wafer product containing a food, using at least two wafer sheets (10, 20). The invention is characterised in that a layer (30) of a food product, e.g. a confectionery, meat, fish, cheese, fruit or vegetable product or similar or nuts, almonds is applied to a first still-hot wafer sheet (20) delivered from the oven, said wafer sheet containing at least 23 % sugar or an identical portion of a substance with the same technological properties as sugar, e.g. trehalose and in that a second still-hot wafer sheet (10) is applied to this layer, said second wafer also containing at least 23 % sugar or an identical portion of a substance with the same technological properties as sugar, e.g. trehalose. The two wafer sheets (10, 20) containing the layer (30) of the food product are joined to each other by pressing.

L'invention concerne un procédé qui permet de fabriquer une gaufre contenant un aliment avec au moins deux plaques (10, 20) de gaufre. Selon le procédé, on applique sur une plaque (20) encore chaude, sortant du four et contenant de manière connue au moins 23 % de sucre ou d'une substance ayant les mêmes propriétés technologiques que le sucre, telle que le tréhalose, une couche (30) d'un produit alimentaire, par exemple une friandise ou un produit à base de viande, de poisson, de fromage, de fruits, de légumes, etc., ou de noix, d'amandes, etc.; on applique sur cette couche une seconde plaque (10) de gaufre encore chaude, contenant aussi au moins 23 % de sucre ou d'une substance ayant les mêmes caractéristiques technologiques que le sucre, telle que le tréhalose; et on presse l'une contre l'autre les deux plaques (10, 20) renfermant la couche (30) de produit alimentaire.
