ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for making hollow elastic bodies, particularly balls and similar objects, consists in introducing a suitable doss of vinyl plastisol into a mould, formed of two joined shells, and in subjecting the mould to a first biaxial rotational moulding stage inside a heated chamber heated to a temperature able to effect the gelling of the vinyl plastisol introduced therein, distributed over the inner surface or the mould, in order to form an outer layer of a hollow body. Afterwords a first cooling stage for the mould is activated and a suitable dose or a further vinyl plastisol is introduced into the mould that is then subjected to a second biaxial rotational moulding stage, in order to form an inner layer of the hollow body, within a chamber heated to a suitable temperature for curing the vinyl plastisol introduced into the mould, and to a final mould-cooling stage.
