Process for the manufacture of at least one ethylene derivative compound starting from a low value residual gas, preferably a ROG, according to which : a) the low value residual gas is subjected to a series of treatment steps in a low value residual gas recovery unit in order to remove the undesirable components present therein and to obtain a mixture of products con-taining ethylene and other constituents; b) the said mixture of products is separated into a fraction enriched with compounds which are lighter than ethylene, containing part of the ethylene (fraction A), into a fraction enriched with ethylene (fraction B) and into a heavy fraction (fraction C); c) fraction A and fraction B are separately conveyed to the manufacture of at least one ethylene derivative compound.

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'au moins un dérivé de l'éthylène à partir d'un gaz résiduel de faible valeur, de préférence un GOR (gaz organique réactif), selon lequel : a) le gaz résiduel de faible valeur est soumis à une série d'étapes de traitement dans une unité de récupération de gaz résiduel de faible valeur afin d'éliminer les composants indésirables qu'il renferme et d'obtenir un mélange de produits contenant de l'éthylène et d'autres constituants; b) ledit mélange de produits est séparé en une fraction enrichie en composés qui sont plus légers que l'éthylène, contenant une partie de l'éthylène (fraction A), en une fraction enrichie en éthylène (fraction B) et en une fraction lourde (fraction C); (c) la fraction A et la fraction B sont transportées séparément pour la production d'au moins un composé dérivé de l'éthylène.
