ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: For a removal of polluants from the exhaust gases from burning processes carried out in the processing of stones and earths, a dry process is proposed in which the exhaust gases are contacted at a temperature from 50 to 100° C with a particulate solid sorbent in a solids- circulating system. The system consists of a fluidized bed absorber, a solids separator and a recycling line, and the product of the reaction of the sorbent with the polluants is supplied to a cement-making process.
