Preventives for migraine which contain, as the active ingredient, a double antagonist to 5-HT2B and 5-HT7 receptors having selective binding affinities for the 5-HT2B and 5-HT7 receptors. These preventives for migraine show a favorable pharmacological effect compared with the case where an antagonist to 5-HT2B receptor showing a selective binding affinity for the 5-HT2B receptor and an antagonist to 5-HT2B receptor showing a selective binding affinity for the 5-HT7 receptor are each employed alone. Thus, they are useful as drugs showing an excellent effect of preventing migraine and lessened side effects occurring in the existing preventives for migraine.

Agents de prévention pour la migraine qui contiennent, comme ingrédient actif, un double antagoniste des récepteurs 5-HT2B et 5-HT7 ayant des affinités liantes sélectives vis-à-vis des récepteurs 5-HT2B et 5-HT7. Ces agents de prévention pour la migraine présentent un effet pharmacologique favorable par rapport au cas où on emploie un antagoniste du récepteur 5-HT2B présentant une affinité liante sélective vis-à-vis du récepteur 5-HT2B et un antagoniste du récepteur 5-HT2B.présentant une affinité liante sélective vis-à-vis du récepteur 5-HT7 chacun seuls. Ainsi, ils sont utiles comme médicaments présentant un excellent effet de prévention de la migraine et des effets secondaires survenant dans les agents de prévention pour la migraine existants diminués.
