A novel functionally active derivative of cobra venom factor is described in which the .beta.-chain has been cleaved by treatment with a protease. Gel-electrophoretic analyses of the purified derivative revealed the absence of an intact .beta.-chain and a decrease of the molecular weight.
L'invention concerne un nouveau dérivé fonctionnellement actif du facteur de venin de cobra dans lequel la beta -chaîne a été coupée par traitement avec une protéase. Des analyses par électrophorèse sur gel du dérivé purifié ont révélé l'absence d'une beta -chaîne intacte et une diminution du poids moléculaire.
