The invention relates to a protective circuit for the protection of a system to be protected from overvoltage and over-current, in particular for telecommunicationinstallations. The protective circuits comprise a fuse connected into the line conductor, and a surge arrester with a heat-sensitive protection device, forming a cross path between the line conductor and an earth conductor, the heat-sensitive protection device disconnecting the cross path in case of excessive power, and connecting the line conductor to the earth conductor. In the protective circuit of the present invention, the response of the heat-sensitive protection device will cause disconnection of the cross path of the surge arrester and closing of a short-circuit cross path provided on the system side of the fuse between the line conductor and the earth conductor. The protective circuit can be accommodated in a miniature plug for application in telecommunication installations.
L'invention a trait à un circuit protecteur destiné à protéger un système contre les surtensions et les surintensités, en particulier dans des installations de télécommunications. Les circuits protecteurs comprennent un fusible connecté au conducteur de ligne, et un protecteur contre les transitoires doté d'un dispositif de protection thermosensible, formant un trajet d'interconnexion entre le conducteur de ligne et un conducteur de terre. Le dispositif de protection thermosensible met hors circuit le trajet d'interconnexion en cas d'alimentation excessive, et branche le conducteur de ligne au conducteur de terre. Dans le circuit protecteur de la présente invention, la réponse du dispositif de protection thermosensible provoque la mise hors circuit du trajet d'interconnexion du protecteur contre les transitoires et la fermeture d'un trajet d'interconnexion de court-circuit présent du côté système du fusible entre le conducteur de ligne et le conducteur de terre. Le circuit protecteur peut être logé dans une fiche miniature conçue pour des installations de télécommunications.
