Abstract Pushbutton Switch, Particularly Key Switch In a pushbutton switch, particularly a key switch, having an operating button, a member movable in the direction of actuation, particularly a contact-actuating member, and a restoring spring which is loaded when the operating button is depressed and which moves the operating button to its normal position when the button is released, at least one laterally resiliently deflectable locking member (9, 10), which is either fixed or movable together with the movable member (1), and a locking edge (4) engaging or movable into engagement with the locking member (9, 10) are arranged in accordance with the invention, so that when the operating button (23) is depressed, the locking member (9, 10) moves against the locking edge (4) and is laterally deflectable by the latter, thereby unlocking the locking mechanism, and that the contact-actuating member (1) can then be moved on against the force of the restoring spring (9), and that at least one contact (18 and/or 19) can be actuated only after or shortly before the unlocking.
