"ABSTRACT" The Quarter Lid This invention is designed specifically for use with round containers such as paint cans which contents are applied to specific surfaces using a paint brush as the applicator. The quater lid fits into existing groves on the container, and provides a straight flat edge that allows the user of the brush by pressing the wide flat sides of the brush to remove excess liquid from the brush, more efficiently that with a rounded edge. By reducing or eliminating liquid from collecting in re-sealing groves on the container it is assumed that a savings will be realized from a more proper re-sealing of 1iquid in the container. The more efficient removal of excess liquid from the brush will help to eliminate the messy dripping and excess build-up of liquid on the brush and so provide easier clean- up of brush.
