This claim is for a new kind of solar powered food dehydrator. There are two major concerns in food dehydration. The first is that the air must be heated sufficiently and the second is that the air flow must be adequate It is difficult to achieve both of these with traditional solar powered techniques. The innovation, of this patent application, to add a solar powered fan to drive the air flow combined with a passive pre-heating of the entering air.
