RADIALLY EXPANDABLE EDGE CONNECTOR SYSTEM Abstract: A connector system with applications in the areas of general assembly of components, fluid containment structures, electrical connectors, prefabricated building panels and solar collectors. The edge connector system uses a flexible connector with a curvilinear cross section in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the joint. A clamping means flattens the major arched portion of the flexible connector and forces the minor arched portion of the flexible connector into a channel carried on a component to be joined. This single step assembly motion allows for ease of replacement of components and effective seals to be formed along the line of the mechanical joint.
