A composition that includes a copolymer of isobutylene and diisobutylene-type monomers and various other vinyl monomers; the copolymer comprising a group that is capable of undergoing a polymerization reaction when exposed to actinic radiation or ionizing radiation. The composition may be used to coat a substrate by providing a substrate; applying a layer of a radiation-curable composition that includes the copolymer described above over at least a portion of a surface of the substrate; and curing the radiation-curable composition by exposing the layer to actinic radiation in an amount sufficient to effect curing of the radiation-curable composition.
La présente invention concerne une composition qui comprend un copolymère contenant des restes comprenant les unités structurelles (I) dans lesquelles n représente un entier compris entre 1 et 10 000; R?1¿ représente un alkyle C¿1? à C¿4? linéaire ou ramifié; R?2¿ est sélectionné dans le groupe formé par méthyle, aralkyle, alkaryle, aryle, alcényle et alkyle C¿2? à C¿20? linéaire ou ramifié; R?3¿ représente une fraction comprenant un groupe qui est capable de supporter une réaction de polymérisation lorsqu'il est exposé à un rayonnement actinique. La composition peut être utilisée pour recouvrir un substrat, dans ce cas on utilise un substrat, on applique sur au moins une surface du substrat, une couche d'une composition durcissable par rayonnement qui contient le copolymère selon l'invention, et on fait durcir la composition durcissable par rayonnement en exposant la couche à un rayonnement actinique de manière suffisante pour durcir la composition durcissable par rayonnement.
