A stone cutting saw is provided of the kind in which a blade-carrying member is driven along a linear rail. In the new arrangement of the invention, the guide rail includes opposed angular tracks along which runs a cutter-carrying roller box to which are mounted adjustable V-contoured rollers to run smoothly along the angled tracks of the guide rail. This arrangement provides greater stability than previous stone cutting saws and avoids costly and inconvenient build-up of stone dust slurry in the moving parts of the machine.
La présente invention vise une scie à pierres dont le porte-lame est entraîné sur un coulisseau linéaire. Dans la nouvelle variante de l'invention, le coulisseau est constitué de deux rails à angle se faisant face où se déplace une boîte de galets de roulement tranchants sur lesquels sont montés des galets réglables à profil en V qui roulent en douceur le long des rails à angle du coulisseau. Cet assemblage assure une plus grande stabilité que les scies à pierres existantes et élimine la formation d'un laitier de poussière stérile gênant le fonctionnement des pièces mobiles de la machine à scier et dont l'enlèvement engendre des coûts importants.
