ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rail vehicle, particularly urban rail vehicle, has two halves with head parts, a driving bogie in one head part, a driving bogie in the other head part spaced from the driving bogie in the one head part by a maximum possi- ble distance, and floor portions in the regions of the driv- ing bogies, an intermediate floor portion which is lower and extends from the floor portion in the region of the one driv- ing bogie to the floor portion in the region of the other driv- ing bogie, an articulation is provided in the center of the vehicle and connecting the vehicle halves with one another, and a running bogie is located near the articulation under one of the vehicle halves. -1-
