A B S T R A C T A raisable curtain type goods-handling door of the type including a wind-up shaft at its top and vertical side uprights forming or containing slideways for the edges of the curtain, said vertical uprights having their bottom ends fixed to the ground. On the same face as its slideway, the top end of each side upright includes a member such as a shaft stub for receiving and supporting the wind-up shaft in detachable manner, whereby the wind-up shaft prevents the top ends of the uprights from moving towards each other, and a member such as a spacer having strength in traction is tensioned between the top ends of the uprights to prevent them from moving apart.
