- 13 - REINFORCED CONCRETE OFFSHORE PLATFORM ABSTRACT This invention provides an offshore platform whose ho- neycomb foundation and supporting structure are made of pre- fabricated reinforced concrete elements which are polyhedral hollow prisms installed with gaps between the external sides thereof and joined by a system of pre-stressed vertical and horizontal diaphragm walls formed by pre-tensioning rein- forcing bars placed in said gaps between the prism faces and casting said gaps with concrete.
