A reinforced pallet includes a pallet body having a plurality of support members (32), each integrally molded adjacent one of the plurality of channels (30) formed in the pallet body. Each of the support members (32) is configured such that it can be moved outward away from the channel upon insertion of an elongated reinforcement member (56) into the channel and to subsequently return toward its undeformed position, thereby retaining the reinforcement member in the channel. In this manner, the reinforcement members can be inserted and retained in the pallet body in a single motion.
Selon l'invention, une palette renforcée comprend un corps de palette possédant une pluralité d'éléments de support (32) dont chacun est moulé adjacent à la pluralité de canaux (30) formés dans le corps de palette. Chacun des éléments de support (32) est configuré de manière à pouvoir être déplacé vers l'extérieur du canal lors de l'insertion d'un élément de renfort (56) dans le canal puis retrouver sa position non déformée et retenir ainsi l'élément de renfort dans le canal. De cette manière, les éléments de renfort peuvent être insérés et retenus dans le corps de palette en un seul mouvement.
