Le mors mobile 23 de la pince est agencé en un levier coudé 26 monté à pivotement sur un axe fixe 25, disposé au-dessus du logement du câble entre les mors 22,23 de la pince. Le levier coudé 26 coopère avec une genouillère 29 ayant une bielle télescopique 28 à ressort 32 et un vérin commande l'extension et la brisure de la genouillère pour provoquer la fermeture et l'ouverture de la pince. Les mors 22,23 sont démontables.
