Systems and methods for remotely monitoring the execution of computer programs are provided. Monitoring instructions are added into the computer program so that during execution of the program, data may be collected regarding the program execution. The collected data may be automatically sent to a remote system or site for analysis (fig. 4, step 324, 326). The monitoring instructions create little or no performance impact on the client yet provide valuable information to the developer of the program. Additionally, the monitoring instructions may be changed during computer program development.
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de télécontrôle de l'exécution de programmes informatiques. Les instructions de contrôle sont ajoutées au programme informatique de sorte que, pendant l'exécution du programme, des données concernant l'exécution du programme puissent être collectées. Ces données collectées peuvent être automatiquement envoyées à un système ou à un site à distance à des fins d'analyse (fig. 4, étapes 324, 326). Les instructions de contrôle n'ont que peu ou pas du tout d'impact au niveau des performances pour le client mais fournissent des informations précieuses au réalisateur du programme. En outre, les instructions de contrôle peuvent être modifiées pendant le développement du programme informatique.
