-1- Abstract of the disclosure Rhodomycin derivatives with cytostatic activity The invention relates to new anthracycline derivatives with cytostatic activity and the formula I Image and the physiologically acceptable salts thereof, where R1 is hydrogen or a hydroxyl group, R2 is C1, Br, OCORx, NRaRb, NRn-(CH2)n-NRaRb, NRa-NRa-CO-(CH2)y-CO-NRa-NRaRb or NRa- CHR3-CH2-R4, where Rx is C1-C6alkyl, phenyl or benzyl, n = 0-12 and y = 0-10, where Ra and Rb can each be hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl or benzyl, and where R3 is hydrogen or a carboxyl group and R4 is the residue of an L-amino acid or of a biogenic amine, a process for the preparation thereof and the use thereof in a pharmaceutical.
