A B S T R A C T ROLLER-SKATING DOLL The roller-skating doll in question includes a -- mechanism worked by an electric motor. The mechanism is based on gears which give revolving movement to a drum provided with a winding ring-shaped groove containing two pins belonging to levers that work the legs. These levers are linked to another two levers, articulated in the middle, which convey movement to the arms. There is also an eccentric on the drum's outlet shaft in order to convey movement to the head. The winding groove in the drum ensures that the movements of the legs, arms and head are synchronized and in time. In addition, there is a device that causes the -- mechanism to stop for a moment and then to start again, as well as a clutch which allows the motor to idle in the event of the doll falling over, being blocked by an obstacle, etc. Figure 1.
